screw version of this telescope can be identified by a flat secondary
housing with no plastic cover over the factory collimation screws. Also, the
secondary housing has no holes or slots except for the three collimation
screw holes. |
| Note4: Some Orion by Celestron 11"
telescopes require
knobs with metric threads. The
metric secondary can be identified by a factory-installed plastic cap over
the collimation screws. Do not use these knobs on the SCT with metric
collimation screw threads. |
